Our Beliefs
There is only one true God - the Triune God - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Confession of Faith identifies the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments (commonly called the Bible); the Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed, and the Lutheran confessional writings in the Book of Concord as the basis for our teaching.
We are saved by the grace of God alone -- not by anything we do; Our salvation is through faith alone -- we only need to believe that our sins are forgiven for Christ's sake, who died to redeem us.
Through the Sacrament of Baptism, we are freed from sin, reborn as children of God, and receive the promises of inheritors of eternal life.
Through the Sacrement of Holy Communion, the body and blood of Christ in the bread and wine, we receive the forgiveness of sin and the joy of the hope of eternal life where we gather around the heavenly feast.
These beliefs and teachings which include Luther's Small Catechism - which contains teachings on the Ten Commandments, the Apostles' Creed, the Lord's Prayer, Holy Baptism, Confession and Absolution, Holy Communion and Morning and Evening Prayers, as well as the Augsburg Confessions.
